     PRE-COMMITMENT COUPLES COUNSELING

Learn five essential ingredients of an intimacy that lasts, and about five destructive habits that you can transform now into a mindful, compassionate response to your partner, and to life.

    The key to success, in any counseling/therapeutic experience, is feeling safe enough to risk finally dropping the masks and allow yourself the healing experience of authentic relationship; sharing your unhidden heart with another. Together, I help you and your partner learn to pay deeper attention to the passionate messages of your body, to allow your human vulnerability to be seen and known, to share your inner-self safely, and learn to welcome your partner's inner-self safely and joyfully.
    
    We practice proven listening and speaking techniques with careful compassion; we explore connections between your family histories and your current vulnerabilities; and practice mindfulness of the sacredness of all others—especially our chosen beloved. These techniques are quickly learned for lifetime practice, and can quickly and profoundly affect your relationships.

My fee for individual counseling is $200 for a 60 minute session, pro-rated after that. I also honor BC PPO out-of- network contracts (you can send in bills for reimbursement) and I will be happy to consider a sliding scale according to need.
